TV Inputs and Outputs

Updated 26-Apr-2002 03:37:17 PM

DVI actually stands for Digital Visual Interface, not Digital Video Interface.

Here's an article on the Secrets of Home Theater & High Fidelity site about digital input to TVs (including DVI), with details about forthcoming copy-protection technologies and their implications for consumers.

There's a separate Beyond-the-Book page on HTPCs.

I don't know why you would need this, but the Radio Shack 15-1242 Signal Converter can convert analog audio to digital, and composite video to S-video.
