The
book says that if your HDTV already has an HD tuner, you don't need to get an HD
receiver, but my understanding is that you do. That is, at least with DirecTV,
you can get HDTV only with the HD tuner in the set-top-box. An HDTV tuner in the
TV is redundant, and a waste of money.
